TENUTA LE CHIUSE
Le Chiuse Estate extends over an area of about 18 hectares in total between forest, vineyards and olive groves, and produces some of the finest wines in the Montalcino area.
The cellar has been founded in the 1980s by the Bianchini family and today it is managed by Simonetta Valiani, which has brought The Locks to levels of excellence.
The low yield of 40 quintals per hectare, makes it possible to obtain high quality grapes.
During harvest, grapes are manually sorted according to cluster size, ensuring that only the best fruit reaches the winery.
On the palate, the wine presents itself concentrated and full-bodied, with a deep complexity of flavors, including cherry, crushed raspberry, star anise and tobacco. The fine and refined tannins perfectly complement the bright acidity, maintaining the balanced and vibrant wine.
The winery is committed to environmental sustainability and uses low-impact cultivation techniques to ensure maximum expression of the territory and typicality of its wines.
- Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G Le Chiuse: the most representative wine, not only because it boasts the largest production but especially because it contains the true soul of Le Chiuse.
- Brunello di Montalcino Riserva D.O.C.G "DieciAnni": a Reserve of greater balance and complexity, but without affecting the winery's idea of wine and the expressiveness of the terroir.
The Fuligni Farm was founded in the 1920s by the Fuligni family and is now run by the fourth generation of the family.
The farm covers an Area of about 100 hectares, 14 of which are planted with vineyards, and produces some of the finest wines in the Montalcino area.
The vineyards are located mainly in the area of "I Cottimelli", at an altitude ranging from 380 to 450 meters above sea level.
Characterized by a deep ruby red color, Fuligni winery's Brunello accompanied by characteristic and delicate aromas.
The palate is distinguished by its harmony, With hints of vanilla and red fruit. Its breadth and warmth of flavor make it a high-quality product.
The winery also uses traditional winemaking techniques, such as fermentation in 20/30 quintal Slavonian oak barrels, in total and natural isothermal, very suitable for aging.
- Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G Fuligni: is the result of important, carefully selected grapes from low yields per hectare and produced only in the best vintages.
- Brunello di Montalcino Riserva D.O.C.G Fuligni: Fuligni reserves can be found in the cellars of the greatest collectors and are an excellent investment due to their high market and auction prices.
